Shavington-cum-Gresty Neighbourhood Plan Review
Initial Engagement Results – May 2026
Thank you to everyone who took part in the initial engagement survey for the Neighbourhood Plan Review. Your feedback has provided valuable insight into local views, priorities and concerns.
A summary of the survey results is now available below. These results highlight the key themes raised by respondents and will play an important role in shaping the next stage of the Neighbourhood Plan Review.
We are currently reviewing the feedback received alongside relevant technical evidence and applicable national and local planning policies. This work will help inform the preparation of the next draft of the Neighbourhood Plan.
There will be further opportunities for the community to get involved as the draft plan is developed and consulted on.
Initial Engagement Period – Monday 13 April to Sunday 26 April 2026
We are currently reviewing the Shavington-cum-Gresty Neighbourhood Plan to ensure it remains up to date and continues to reflect the needs and priorities of our community.
The review is being led by Shavington-cum-Gresty Parish Council and will involve consultation with residents, businesses and other local stakeholders.
We are exploring a range of Future Development Scenarios—different ways the parish could grow over the next 20+ years. The scenarios presented are indicative only and designed to start this conversation. We need your help to analyse each Scenario and tell us what impact you think each Scenario would have in practice.
You can access the presentation below. This provides the background and context to the project and then considers the scenarios. Please ensure you have read this pack in full prior to answering the survey.
You can take the survey from Monday 13 April to Sunday 26 April.

Your response will inform policies which will allocate sites for housing within the Neighbourhood Plan. We would like to hear the views of everyone who lives, works or has an interest (including land interests) in the local area.
