We are inviting residents, businesses, community groups, statutory consultees, and other stakeholders to review and comment on the draft Shavington-cum-Gresty Neighbourhood Plan as part of our Regulation 14 consultation.

This consultation is an important opportunity for you to help shape the future of our area and ensure that local priorities, needs, and aspirations are reflected in the final plan.

Closing Date: Wednesday 21 October 2026
Comments received after the closing date may not be considered.

What is a Regulation 14 Consultation?

A Regulation 14 consultation is a formal stage in the preparation of a neighbourhood plan under the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

During this stage, the draft plan is published for consultation and feedback is sought from:

  • Local Residents
  • Businesses
  • Community Organisations
  • Landowners
  • Statutory Consultees
  • Other Interested Parties

All responses will be carefully reviewed and considered before the plan is revised and submitted to the Local Planning Authority for the next stage of the process.

What Happens Next?

Once the consultation closes:

  1. All responses will be reviewed.
  2. The draft plan will be amended where appropriate.
  3. A Consultation Statement will be prepared summarising the comments received and how they have been addressed.
  4. The plan will be submitted to the Local Planning Authority for Regulation 15 submission and subsequent examination.
