#Queenbee Art Competition

Do you have a creative talent?

This is an opportunity for artists of all ages in Shavington-cum-Gresty to share their talent with their community.

This is an art competition where we invite entries to be submitted on the theme #Queenbee.

Work must be no bigger than A3 size and no smaller than A5.  If it is digital media, it must last no longer than 30 seconds. If it is 3d craft, it must be no bigger than 1m in height. 

Any media type will be accepted and must be the artist’s own work. We welcome drawing, painting, photographs, short films, 3D media, needlework and any other creative media.

Work submitted will be presented in a digital display.

Prizes will be awarded in different categories and for different age groups.

Terms and Conditions

The judges’ decision will be final.

Entrants must be in some way connected with the Parish of Shavington-cum-Gresty. This can be by living within the Parish boundary, attending either Shavington Academy, Shavington Primary School, Rope Green Nursery or Rounderbouts Nursery in Shavington.

Deadline for public entries is 8pm August 31 2022. (individual school entry dates may differ)

Any work submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

By submitting work as an entry you are giving permission for Shavington Parish Council and Shavington Online to share the work in any promotion or advertising that they do. This may include media such as Facebook, Websites, promotion or advertising in the press.

Winners will be notified as soon as possible after the deadline and names will be made public through the media channels listed above.. Where possible photographs of the winners will also be used.
