6To receive information on the January report from the Village Beat Manager and any update on the Shavington-cum-Gresty Funded PCSO activities from Cllr S. Jones.   The January report has been circulated to all Members.  
7 To note the information of the Year-To-Date Parish Council finance position.

10Training of the new Parish Clerk   The Interim Clerk will circulate a report to all Members about the training and shadowing of the new Parish Clerk for the first few months – some in person and some online and remotely.

11          VE 80   Members are asked to note that an event to commemorate VE80 will take place on Thursday 8th May 2025.  
12Qualifications and Training   Members are asked to note the following:   Holly has been booked onto the following training courses through the Society of Local Council Clerks:  
Allotments – Site facilities and health and safety
Allotments – tenancy agreement and policies
New Clerk series   ILCA  
Members are asked to confirm that the Parish Clerk and the Community Manager attend the above course:   The core modules are:  
Module 1: The Core Roles
Module 2: Law and Procedures
Module 3: Finance
Module 4: Management
Module 5: Community                     
The cost if £120 plus VAT per person.                    
ILCA is the precursor to CILCA which they will then come to Council with the cost.  
13      Tonne Association   Cllr. S. Randle ask Members to consider re-establishing the link between the Tonne Association and the Parish Council (HMS Shavington).  
14    Village Hall   Members are asked to note that there will be a policy for use of the Village Hall by non-regular users at the April meeting.  
15    Update from Cheshire East Councillor   Cllr. Buchanan will give Members an update about her work as a Cheshire East Councillor in relation to Shavington and the wider area.  
16To note the date of the next Council Meeting   Members are asked to note that the next meeting of Shavington Cum Gresty Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 2nd April 2025.   A revised date for the Annual Parish Meeting will be advised at the meeting. Members are asked to consider Guest Speakers for the meeting and consideration of refreshments for the same.

EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS   RECOMMENDED That in view of the confidential nature of the business about to be transacted, it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public be temporarily excluded, and they are instructed to withdraw, due to the nature of the business about to be transacted which is considered to be prejudicial to the public interest.
